The princes are not allowed to directly kill each other. They need to find indirect ways of killing each other. The arc is incredibly complicated because there are so many moving parts. The arc is also far from complete. To date three of the princes have been killed off, with eleven still in contention.
You watched it on Netflix too? I watched and read the manga. Tbh the Netflix form s7 or s2 in normal form will take much time until this ongoing long arc at least to be done, another scenario they maybe wait for manga completion to make a reboot (in case this arc takes like 10 years,the 2011 animation will be behind 20 years)
