You can't play expansion content until level 80 (don't worry, leveling goes pretty quickly) and it's usually not recommended for your very first character to make use of the level 80 boost that comes with expansion purchases, so you can have time to learn various systems gradually as you level - your time before reaching level 80 is kind of an e You can only buy the living world for the gems in-game and that sale is once a year tops. That was 3 months ago. Just get the 1st bundle when you're sure you like the game longterm,
I bought the elder dragon saga - HoT PoF and EoD. Which means i'm missing all living world segments past number 1 as well as IBS and SoTo. I'll have to buy the last 2 separately I suppose but im wishing I bought the elder dragon saga complete collection so that i'd have the living worlds eps, is there a way to upgrade to it?
You can buy the expack and level up naturally or use the lvl boost. Then, do the story Sparking the Flame to get your first raptor. Now, do the HoT story (last chapter hard to solo, bring a friend). Then, do LWS3 (if you own them), then continue the PoF storyline. The cheapest one is enough.
For those that want to take advantage of the massive sales, a workaround might be to buy them but not apply the codes to the account. This means being organized enough to keep the codes safely findable at whatever point in the future one wants to begin the expansion, and assumes that the codes don't go "stale" and can't be hacked/stolen.
Play the free game to 80. Do it again if you had fun with another class. Mounts ruin the game flow of the original game. It was slower paced with fun zones / areas to explore . Hey guys :D I want to commit to Guild Wars 2, but i´m not sure what expansion i should buy :/ Path of Fire seems to be the most logical to begin with, since it unlocks the mounts, but i have read about "Living World" that is supposed to be very good. but the only addon pack that seems to include Living World is the Complete Edition.
