But don’t over customize the face, as it drains the battery more quickly. This watch face is compatible with all the Garmin watches, including; Garmin Forerunner series (245+), Garmin Fenix 5 and later versions, Marq series, Vivoactive series, Tactix Dela, D2, and Vivolife. Description. This may look like a watchface, but it's not. It's an app to record outdoor walks! This was done with a main screen that looks like a watchface, where you still want to have a "watchface" visible, yet do recording. (if you want a more robust app for walking, see Hike or Hike2, but Simple Walk does much more than a native walking
As I have a new garmin fenix 5 (1 week old), and it's a model S, I don't have any idea if my "stats" are correct or not. The widget battery analyzer says my watch is discharging 12% a day, and it says it should last for ~8 days. This seems to be correct (garmin says 7-9 days for the fenix 5s). Anyone with the 5s can say which % it uses per day?
Interested in preserving much required watch battery percentage on 5S Plus Any stats available comparing OHRM versus Ant+ HRM Run? In addition, watch battery drain using Stryd Foot-pod connected via Ant+? Of course, I can perform various activity combinations and monitor usage, but maybe data is already available?

RE: Fenix 5S Plus sudden increase in battery drain Update from my end about the Fenix 5S Plus from the initial post of this thread. Starting from the situation described in the beginning -- oldish watch, Garmin support not able to help further, battery drain too fast for the device to be of any use.

Since the last firmware update on my Fenix 6s pro solar everything seems messed up: excessive battery drain, then a hard restart got the body battery stuck at a maximum of 68, and finally I noticed that the battery drain issue was actually not fixed but the battery indicator on the standard watchface was stuck at 9 days.
Garmin quietly lumbers towards a battery fix. It seems that Garmin didn’t really believe reports from myself and many other people concerning unexpected battery drain issues. This is STILL a relatively widespread issue that seemed to come to a head at the start of 2021 when I and others posted about it (see re-post below).
You get all of those same features on the Garmin fēnix 6 plus a couple of extra perks. This model is equipped with battery saving modes, a Pulse Ox sensor, Garmin Pay, and the new PacePro feature.
An all things Garmin Fenix related FENIX 5s plus battery drain . Hello lovely people , Yesterday my FENIX 5s battery went done from 80% to 0 in about 20 hours. I
