Perhaps you're right! I looked up the warranty coverage and it shows Macbook Pro Retina Display 15", Mid-2015 but PURCHASED in May 2018. So That should narrow it down a bit for battery. It should be MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2015) Battery. however the model number is definitely A1398, which is still a bit confusing perhaps?
